As the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) prepares for its Ward Congress scheduled to hold today, a prominent youth leader and voice in Ibadan NorthWest Local Government, Kamaldeen Abolore Ganiyu, popularly known as The Great Kamal, has called for unity, peace, and discipline among party faithful.
Kamal, who also serves as the Secretary of The GSMists, emphasized the importance of conducting the exercise in a peaceful and orderly manner, warning against any form of violence or hooliganism that could undermine the credibility of the party and its democratic processes.
According to him, the PDP remains the largest political party in West Africa, and as such, its members must continue to set the standard in demonstrating maturity, tolerance, and peaceful coexistence.
He further commended the leadership style of Governor Seyi Makinde (GSM), describing it as exemplary and a source of inspiration for young people in politics. Kamal applauded GSM for his commitment to inclusiveness, development, and grassroots participation, which have strengthened the party’s structures across Oyo State.
Kamal urged delegates, stakeholders, and all party members to approach today’s congress with a spirit of brotherhood, stressing that unity within the party is the only way to secure lasting victories in future elections.
