HON OLAYINKA AFEEZ EMPOWERS OVER 65 INDIGENES IN ATIBA LG, RECEIVES WARM RECEPTION WITH ENCOMIUMS
It was a joyous and heartwarming reception filled with encomiums and love in Atiba Local Government as Hon. Olayinka Afeez empowered over 65 people with cash support and further promises of more interventions in the nearest future.
The program, which was almost put on hold due to the departure of a respected party stalwart, eventually held successfully as God destined. Prayers were offered for the repose of the deceased’s soul, asking Almighty Allah to grant him eternal rest.
The occasion was graced by a remarkable turnout of leaders, party faithful, and community stakeholders who appreciated the empowerment initiative, describing it as a rare show of commitment and leadership. In attendance were Hon. Liasu Alawode, Special Assistant to the Oyo State Governor on Oyo Federal Constituency Matters; Hon. Sakiru Ojo, Oyo East LG PDP Party Chairman; Hon. Mustapha Taofeeq Abolore, Councillor representing Ward 05 in Afijio LG; Hon. Romoke Asake, Supervisory Councillor on Women Affairs in Oyo West LG; Hon. Olayiwola Afees from Oyo East LG; Hon. Adebayo Ademola, Chairman of Party Chairmen in Oyo West LG; Comrade Adelakun Olanrewaju from Oyo East LG; Comrade Oparemi Musodiq from Oyo East LG; and Comrade Osunsanwo Oluwatosin from Oyo East LG.
Respected party elders also made their presence felt, including Hon. Ashamu Kabiru, Atiba LG Party Chairman; Hon. Olanrewaju Muhammed (MM), PDP State Ex-Officio; Hon. Aleem Kehinde, Party Secretary in Atiba LG; Hon. Salam Sakiru Abiodun, PRO in Atiba LG; Leader Qoadri Olatunji, Acting BoT in Atiba LG; Leader Wale Ajibade (Yomoko), and several others who all commended the initiative.
The program received widespread applause from teeming party loyalists and members of the community, who noted that Hon. Olayinka Afeez has once again demonstrated genuine concern for his people.
In his remarks, Hon. Afeez expressed gratitude for the massive turnout and assured that the empowerment initiative is only the beginning of greater things to come in his mission to give back to his community and strengthen the party’s growth.
