Dr. Adewale Kolapo Kareem (AKK), a frontline gubernatorial hopeful for Oyo State come 2027, has expressed deep appreciation to Nigerians residing in Victoria, Australia, for their warm reception, overwhelming solidarity, and firm commitment to his vision for the future of Oyo State.
The Oyo-born technocrat and philanthropist, who has been engaging the Nigerian diaspora community across continents, described the support of Nigerians abroad as a great source of encouragement in his journey to serve Oyo State with renewed purpose, innovation, and inclusiveness.
During the interaction, Nigerians in Victoria pledged their solidarity and readiness to contribute ideas, resources, and expertise towards the actualization of Dr. Kareem’s vision for sustainable development in Oyo State.
As part of his diaspora engagement, Dr. Kareem announced upcoming events: the United Kingdom AKK Town Hall Meeting, Book Launch, and Fundraising slated for Saturday, October 11, 2025, and the New South Wales, Australia edition scheduled for Saturday, October 25, 2025.
