Hon. (Chief) Akindipe Hammed Abiodun Akinsunbo, fondly known as Igba-Otun, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to Hon. Folajimi Oyekunle (DON) and the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) family on their resounding victory at the just-concluded Ibadan North Federal Constituency bye-election.
Chief Akinsunbo, who currently serves as the Supervisory Councillor for Works in Ibadan NorthWest Local Government and proudly holds the traditional title of Mayegun of Eleyele/Arometa, described the triumph as another clear testimony of Governor Seyi Makinde’s good governance and the unwavering confidence of the people in the PDP.
He commended Governor Makinde for his visionary leadership and grassroots development strides, noting that the victory was a direct reflection of the Governor’s commitment to inclusive governance and the progress of Oyo State.
“The people of Ibadan North have once again spoken loudly in favour of good governance, equity, and continuity. I congratulate Hon. Folajimi Oyekunle DON on this well-deserved victory. His dedication to the service of the people has been rewarded, and I am confident he will deliver effectively at the Green Chamber,” Chief Akinsunbo stated.
He further urged the newly elected lawmaker to continue prioritizing the needs of the people, while working in synergy with Governor Makinde to ensure more dividends of democracy reach every corner of Ibadan North.
