NAYEI Foundation Brings Hope; Offers Business Grant and Full Scholarship for Widows in Saki
The Nurudeen Adewale Foundation (NAYEI) has extended its support to a 25-year-old widow, Mariam Usman, whose story gained viral attention in a Facebook post by Mrs. Aderogba, highlighting her struggles in Saki West Local Government. During a conversation with Mrs. Aderogba, the Foundation’s Chairman, Mr. Nurudeen Adewale, expressed a deep desire to assist Mariam, acknowledging the touching nature of her story and the significant challenges she faces.
Following discussions with the board of trustees, Mr. Adewale instructed his team to provide support, which includes offering a full scholarship for Mariam’s first child. Usman Qoyyum, who is only three years old, will receive a scholarship that covers all educational expenses from nursery school through secondary school. Additionally, the Foundation is committed to providing further benefits related to the scholarship, such as upkeep, educational materials, tuition fees, and payments for WAEC/NECO exams.
Furthermore, the Foundation has provided a business investment grant to Mariam to help strengthen her business. Mr. Adewale stated that supporting industrious widows aligns with the Foundation’s mission of assisting the less privileged, including widows and vulnerable individuals, to positively impact their lives.
The Foundation’s team presented the documentation outlining the scholarship and the business investment grants, which were signed by both parties. We extend our gratitude to Mrs. Aderogba for her compassion and efforts in ensuring that Mariam receives the necessary support. We pray that the Lord blesses her abundantly.
