As part of his unwavering commitment to educational development and youth empowerment in Oyo State, All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial aspirant, Dr. Adewale Kolapo Kareem (AKK), has announced the commencement of a Free Scholarship Programme at Attaofeequ Billahi International School (ABIS), a private institution he founded to blend academic excellence with moral and spiritual development.
The scholarship, which will run from August 11th to 15th, 2025, is open to the first 10 students from Oyo State who register during the window. Beneficiaries will enjoy full tuition sponsorship for the entire duration of their education at ABIS.
“This initiative is part of my effort to give back to the society and ensure that no child is left behind because of financial barriers,” Dr. Kareem stated. “Every child matters, and I am proof that education changes lives.”
A Legacy of Accessible Education
Established with a vision to deliver world-class learning while nurturing strong moral values, ABIS originally charged over ₦1,000,000 per term. However, under Dr. Kareem’s direction, the school significantly reduced its fees to a more affordable range of ₦60,000 to ₦105,000, to accommodate a broader spectrum of families.
These fees cover not just traditional academics, but also:
- Qur’an memorization and Islamic studies
- Vocational and life skills acquisition
- Digital literacy and tech integration
“We want our students to thrive not just in academics, but also spiritually, practically, and emotionally,” he emphasized.
