The National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Oyo State Chapter – Muslim Wing, has extended heartfelt congratulations to Shaykh Dr. Bilal Shith on his official turbaning as the Chief Imam of Eruwaland.
In a statement issued on Monday, the Amir of the NYCN Muslim Wing in Oyo State, Comrade Ramoni Ishola Gafari, described the appointment as a “noble trust and a sacred call to serve the Deen and the Ummah at a higher level.” He acknowledged the immense spiritual and moral responsibilities attached to the position and expressed hope that Shaykh Dr. Bilal would discharge his duties with sincerity, wisdom, and divine guidance.
“This is indeed a significant milestone for our teacher, father, and mentor. We pray that Allah ﷻ makes this role a source of goodness, elevation, and barakah for our Shaykh in both worlds,” the Amir stated.
He further prayed for divine protection for the newly installed Chief Imam, asking Allah to shield him from the harms of both mankind and jinn, while also granting him victory, honour, and unwavering steadfastness in his leadership.
