The Chairman of the Oyo State Road Maintenance Agency (OYSROMA), Hon. Busoye Ogunlade , has extended warm congratulations to His Excellency, Governor Oluseyi Makinde, and his wife, Engr. (Mrs.) Olufunke Makinde, on their conferment as Aare Omoluabi and Yeye Aare Omoluabi of Akure Kingdom.
The royal titles were bestowed by His Imperial Majesty, Oba (Dr.) Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade Aladelusi, the Deji of Akure Kingdom, during the celebration of his 10th coronation anniversary.
In a goodwill message released to the press, Hon. Ogunlade described the recognition as “a well-deserved honour that reflects Governor Makinde’s integrity, leadership, and unwavering commitment to public service,” adding that the First Lady’s contributions to social empowerment and development continue to inspire many across the Southwest.
“Governor Makinde remains a beacon of responsible leadership, and this prestigious conferment by the revered Deji of Akure Kingdom is not only timely but symbolic of the Governor’s impact beyond Oyo State,” Ogunlade noted.
He also congratulated the monarch and the good people of Akure for preserving the rich cultural heritage of the Yoruba nation and for identifying and honouring worthy leaders.
“On behalf of the entire OYSROMA team, I say congratulations to His Excellency, Her Excellency, and the great people of Akure Kingdom. This honour is one for the history books,” he concluded.
