The Omituntun Benedict Foundation (OBF), a leading socio-philanthropic organization founded by Chief Benedict Akika, has extended heartfelt congratulations to His Excellency, Governor Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde, and his wife, Engr. (Mrs.) Olufunke Taminominini Makinde, on their prestigious installation as the Aare Omoluabi and Yeye Aare Omoluabi of Akure Kingdom.
The honourary chieftaincy titles were conferred by His Imperial Majesty, Oba (Dr.) Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade Aladelusi, the Deji of Akure Kingdom, as part of the monarch’s 10th coronation anniversary celebrations; a milestone event attended by distinguished personalities from across Nigeria in Akure Town.
In an official statement signed by the Foundation Secretary, Olusegun C.A. Taiwo (OCAT), OBF described the recognition as a testament to Governor Makinde and the First Lady’s admirable contributions to good governance, community development, and cultural advancement.
