Hearty congratulations to my dear brother; Hon Dikrullahi Stanley Olajide aka Peddy and his better half : Alhaja Adenike Shakirat Adedeji on their installation with the
revered honorary chieftaincy titles of Odidiomo & Yeye Odidiomo respectively of Ibadanland by His Imperial Majesty, Oba (Dr.) Akinloye Owolabi Olakulehin, (Ige Olakulehin I), the 43rd Olubadan of Ibadanland
in recognition of the depth and magnitude of the duo’s commitment to facilitating improvement in the quality of lives lived by his constituents and the Royal institution in the state.
From inception till date,the tenure in office of Hon Odidiomo; the member representing the South West/North West Federal Constituency at the Green Chamber of the National Assembly has been characterized by numerous social welfare interventions and empowerment programmes directed towards the female,youth and elderly demographics of his constituency & stellar representation both within the House of Representatives and outside the shores of the Country
Some representatives( at different levers of governance) who lack understanding,once elected into office by their people create artificial barriers which prevent their constituents from interfacing with or having access to them until the next election cycle when their votes are needed
Odidiomo is not one of those guilty of this. He is a Representative who deliberately & intentionally creates time out of his busy schedule in order to interact directly with his people because he understands that the principal purpose he is in Abuja for is to represent the best interest of his constituents
This recognition by the revered monarch is well deserved and I believe that this will further motivate and spur my dear brother and sister on to redicate themselves to a future of even more significant and positive impact upon the lives of their people.
