The Executive Chairman of Ibadan Northwest Local Government Alh AbdulRahman Olanrewaju Adepoju has Congratulated Muslim faithfuls across the globe on this year eid el kabir celebrations urging them to imbibe the lessons of total submission and obedience to the will of Almighty Allah.
This was contained in his goodwill message to mark the Eid el kabir celebrations.
According to the Chairman, Eid el kabir is the Holy Islamic festival to commemorate the obedience and willingness of Prophet Ibrahim to follow Allah’s command to sacrifice his son, hence, muslims should ensure that they truly imbibe the virtues of Prophet Ibrahim who in obedience to Gods directive sacrificed his only son in fulfilment of his promise to Allah.
The Chairman added that beyond the sacrifice, Muslim ummahs should not relent in praying for peace, unity and religious tolerance which are essential to sustaining the glory of the Nation. He further charged all and sundry to promote and spread love among one another in order to consolidate the nations unity.
Alh Adepoju prayed to Allah to reward our sacrifices bountifully and preserve everyone to witness many Eid el kabir festivals in years to come.
He urged all and sundry to be law abiding during and after the celebrations adding that the ban on carnivals and illegal gatherings within Ibadan Northwest Local Government during and after the festival is still intact. Alh Adepoju affirmed that anyone found wanton will be punished accordingly.

land, league of Imams&Alfas, Party stakeholders, management, staff and all residents of Ibadan Northwest Local Government, Oyo
State and Nigeria as a whole a peaceful and pleasant Eid el Kabir Celebrations.
