It was a day of excitement, adventure, and unity as members of the Oyo State Scout Council visited the award-winning Royal Entertainment Cruise (REC) located at the serene Eleyele Waterfront, Ibadan. The excursion, which took place on Saturday, May 24, 2025, formed a key highlight of the 2025 Oyo State Scout Excursion.
The Royal Entertainment Cruise, a premier recreational facility, is owned and managed by a distinguished leader of the Oyo State Scout Council, Dr. Sanmi Bamidele, who also serves as the MD/CEO of the establishment. Dr. Bamidele, a passionate advocate for youth development and leisure education, warmly welcomed the scouts to the facility.
The visit offered the young scouts a chance to engage in a variety of stimulating and fun-filled activities, including Boat Cruising across the calm and captivating Eleyele lake, Paintball and Shooting Range Games, fostering coordination and strategy, Trampoline Sessions, promoting agility and fitness, Snooker and Table Tennis, encouraging focus and sportsmanship, and Various indoor and outdoor games, enhancing social interaction and teamwork.
The lively environment, coupled with the state-of-the-art recreational amenities at REC, provided the perfect backdrop for the scouts to unwind, bond, and build lasting memories.
