The GSMists Applaud Gov. Makinde’s Inclusive Governance, Celebrate Member’s Appointment

The GSMists, a prominent support group  in Oyo State, have lauded Governor Seyi Makinde for his continued commitment to inclusive governance that recognizes the dedication and sacrifices of grassroots supporters.

In a statement released today by the Public Relations Officer, Moyosore Edreez, the group expressed heartfelt appreciation for what they described as Governor Makinde’s “People-Inclusive Administration,” which they say has fostered a culture of loyalty, participation, and reward within the state’s political framework.

The GSMists particularly celebrated the recent appointment of one of their own, Comrade Oseni Abolade Olosun, as a Member of the Governing Council of the Oyo State College of Agriculture, Igboora.

According to the group, this appointment reflects the Governor’s belief in empowering grassroots actors who have consistently contributed to the development and success of the current administration.

“This is not just an appointment; it is a clear signal that loyalty, dedication, and genuine service to the people and the government are recognized and rewarded under Governor Makinde’s leadership,” the statement read.

They further urged other support groups and youth-oriented organizations to remain steadfast in their commitments, emphasizing that the Omituntun government continues to set the pace in people-centered governance and participatory politics.

The GSMists reiterated their unwavering support for Governor Makinde and his vision for a greater Oyo State and Nigeria at large, noting that inclusivity remains a hallmark of sustainable governance.
