The Supervisory Councillor for Works in Ibadan NorthWest Local Government, Hon. Akindipe Hammed Abiodun Akinsunbo, affectionately known as Igba-Otun, has conveyed his heartfelt greetings to all workers within Ibadan NorthWest Local Government and across Oyo State as they celebrate Worker’s Day today.
In a statement released on May 1 2025, Chief Akinsunbo, who is also of Mayegun of Eleyele/Arometa, lauded the tireless efforts and unwavering commitment of the workforce in contributing to the progress and development of the state and the local government.
He specifically commended the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr Seyi Makinde, and the Executive Chairman of Ibadan NorthWest Local Government, Hon Rahman Adepoju, for their demonstrated dedication to prioritizing the welfare of workers. Chief Akinsunbo emphasized that their commitment has fostered a more conducive and rewarding working environment.
“Today, as we celebrate Worker’s Day, it is crucial to acknowledge the invaluable contributions of our hardworking men and women,” stated Hon. Akinsunbo.
“Their dedication is the bedrock upon which our society thrives. I must also commend our Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde, and our Local Government Chairman, Hon Rahman Adepoju, for their unwavering focus on ensuring the well-being of our workforce.”
Chief Akinsunbo concluded his message with prayer for the continued well-being, prosperity, and progress of all workers in Ibadan NorthWest Local Government and Oyo State.
