A seasoned supply chain expert and respected union leader, Hon. Taofik Adebayo Aderogba, mni, has called on Christians across the country to use the Easter celebration as an opportunity for spiritual renewal and national intercession.
In a statement personally signed and released to journalists on Easter Monday, Hon. Aderogba extended heartfelt greetings to Christians in Ibadan North Federal Constituency, Oyo State, and across Nigeria.

“I congratulate all my Christian brothers and sisters in Ibadan North Federal Constituency, Oyo State, and Nigeria at large,” the statement read. “It is important to note that Jesus has granted us this opportunity to move closer to Him and make our desires known to Him.”
Hon. Aderogba, who serves in various leadership roles within the Trade Union Congress of Nigeria (TUC), urged believers to lift the nation in prayer, particularly in light of the current socio-economic challenges.
He emphasized the need for divine intervention and called on Christians to pray for the nation’s leaders. “As we celebrate Easter, let us remember to pray for our leader, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for divine wisdom, knowledge, and understanding to ameliorate the impact of the current socio-economic situations in our dear nation,” he said.
He also encouraged compassion and solidarity with those affected by insecurity and hardship. “Let us remember and pray for those who have lost their lives and extend helping hands to their loved ones left behind.”
Hon. Aderogba concluded with warm Easter wishes to all, encouraging reflection, unity, and hope for a better Nigeria.
