The Leader of the Ibadan NorthWest Legislative House, Hon. Oluwagbemileke Gbadamosi Nelson, popularly known as O’leke, has extended warm greetings to both Muslim and Christian faithful as they observe the sacred Ramadan and Lenten seasons.

In a goodwill message, O’leke urged the faithful to embrace the core values of love, patience, sacrifice, and devotion, which both religious seasons emphasize. He noted that these periods present opportunities for deep spiritual reflection, forgiveness, and acts of kindness that can strengthen community bonds.

The lawmaker specifically prayed for the Executive Governor of Oyo State; His Excellency Engr Seyi Makinde, Executive Chairman of Ibadan NorthWest Local Government; Hon Rahman Adepoju, other leaders in the state and local government, and the residents, asking for divine guidance, wisdom, and peace in governance. He emphasized the importance of religious harmony and unity in fostering the development of the local government and beyond.

“As our Muslim brothers observe fasting and our Christian brethren engage in prayers and penance, let us use this season to seek divine intervention for the growth of our nation and our community,” O’leke stated.

He further encouraged citizens to remain steadfast in their faith and contribute to societal progress through good deeds and selflessness.
