The Senior Special Assistant to Governor Seyi Makinde on Community Relations (Igbo Community), Hon. Innocent Tallest has congratulated the newly inaugurated Executives of Ohanaeze Ndi Igbo Worldwide Oyo State Chapter.
The forty two people who were elected as the executives representing Ohanaeze Ndi Igbo in their zones sworn in as Executives of Ohanaeze Ndi Igbo Worldwide Oyo State Chapter for the first time in Oyo state on the 15th of March 2025 after an inclusive, well coordinated, well consulted, free, fair and transparent election held on the 14th December 2024, after a successful harmonization of all Igbo factions in Oyo State midwived by the office of the SSA Community Relations (Igbo Community) in corroboration with all the stakeholders, the leaders of the three factions and the Igbo Peace Committee, Oyo State.
Tallest charged them to pick from the abundant wealth of governance knowledge of Governor Seyi Makinde who have in the last 6 years, made Oyo State a home for all.
Tallest in a felicitation note made available to newsmen, congratulated the President and the Executives representing their various zones at the general assembly, adding that it is time to forget our personal differences and get the ball rolling as representative of the Igbos towards positioning and retaining our status as the economic engine room of the Nation.
Hon. Tallest then prayed that God will grant the Executives the wisdom, good health to represent the people in the interest of one indivisible Ohanaeze Ndi Igbo and he also prayed for our Royal Fathers and every Igbo stakeholders, most especially the Peace Committee Members who stood their ground to make sure that this peace is achieved, he appreciated everyone who grace the occasion, May God Bless you all.
“Congratulations once more, my Amiable President on your record breaking election result in the history of Oyo State Ohanaeze and my honorable executives, on your successful inauguration,” Tallest reiterated.
