… As Commissions Motorized Borehole and Distributes Exercise Books to Pupils
In prioritizing the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr Seyi Makinde’s commitment to development and bid to improve access to clean water and educational resources, the Honourable Member representing Ibadan North West State Constituency, Hon. (Dr) Dawood Akanni Olalere D-Al-Ameen, has commissioned a renovated motorized borehole and distributed customized exercise books to pupils at Salvation Army School, Ekotedo, Ibadan.
The event, attended by key stakeholders in the education sector, including the Education Secretary, Mr. Ayoade, highlighted Hon. D-Al-Ameen’s unwavering commitment to the welfare and development of his constituents, particularly in education and healthcare.
Commending the initiative, Mr. Ayoade emphasized the importance of the project, noting that the provision of clean water would significantly improve the well-being of both pupils and teachers.
“By providing a renovated motorized borehole, Hon. D-Al-Ameen is addressing the challenge of water scarcity, which is crucial for maintaining hygiene and ensuring a healthy learning environment,” he stated.
He further lauded the distribution of customized exercise books, describing it as a step towards enhancing students’ learning experiences and academic performance.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Dawood Olalere D-Al-Ameen expressed his gratitude to the school authorities, teachers, and pupils for their warm reception. He reaffirmed his dedication to following in the footsteps of Governor Seyi Makinde, whose administration has prioritized development across the state.
He urged the pupils to make good use of the renovated borehole and exercise books while commending the school’s teachers for their efforts in nurturing the students.
“We will continue to support our teachers and pupils at all levels to secure a better future for the children of Ibadan North West State Constituency,” he assured.
On behalf of the school, Mrs. Dakwom D.S, the Head Teacher of School 1, expressed deep appreciation for Hon. D-Al-Ameen’s intervention, praying for his continued success and impact in the community.
The commissioning ceremony was graced by several political figures and community leaders, including Hon. Adex Dawood Adegoke, Comr. Ayoade (Education Secretary, IBNW), Hon.
