ARSOYOC Celebrates 20th Anniversary, Appreciates Key Personalities

The Association of Registered Social Youth Clubs of Oyo State (ARSOYOC) marked its 20th anniversary on Thursday, February 20, with a grand celebration held at the Local Government House, Secretariat, Agodi, Ibadan. The event served as an opportunity to reflect on ARSOYOC’s achievements over the past two decades and to honor individuals who have played a crucial role in community and youth development across the state.

The association expressed heartfelt appreciation to Prince Adebowale Falana (Chairman, Agency for Youth Development), Chief Adegboyega Taofeek Adegoke (CEO, Solutions FM), Alhaja Shukura Idowu Omonigbeyin (Ekerin Iyaloja of Oje Market), and other distinguished personalities for their unwavering support and dedication to youth empowerment and societal growth.

The group also expressed sincere gratitude to the guest speaker of the day, Prof. Kehinde Kester of the University of Ibadan, for his enlightening and impacting keynote address.

Likewise, the group commends the motherly role of the Honourable Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Inclusion in Oyo State, Hon (Mrs) Toyin Balogun for her efforts and support.

The 20th-anniversary celebration was attended by government officials, traditional leaders, youth representatives, and community stakeholders, making it a significant milestone in ARSOYOC’s history.

As the association looks forward to the future, it remains committed to empowering young people and strengthening partnerships that drive positive change in society.
