
In a heartfelt tribute, Omoluabi Pataki Oloye Benedict Akika, the Mayegun of Akoboland and Grand Life Patron of the Nigerian Beauticians/Hairdressers Association (NBHA), has celebrated the birthday of Dr. Akin Fagbemi, describing him as a compassionate leader and a staunch supporter of His Excellency, Engineer Seyi Makinde, the Executive Governor of Oyo State.
In a statement released to 9ja News 24/7, Chief Akika, who is also the Founder of the Omituntun Benedict Foundation and a decorated community leader with titles including the Aare Agba’Akin Ataiyse Omoluabi Oodua Agbaye, praised Dr. Fagbemi for his unwavering dedication to public service and his impactful contributions to the progress of Oyo State.
Dr. Fagbemi currently serves as the Chairman of the Oyo State Hospital Management Board (OYHMB) and is a former chairman of the Oyo State Road Traffic Management Authority (OYRTMA). His leadership in these capacities has earned him widespread recognition for his focus on improving healthcare infrastructure and ensuring road safety in the state.
Chief Akika highlighted Dr. Fagbemi’s loyalty to Governor Makinde’s administration, describing him as a key figure in the governor’s team. “Dr. Fagbemi embodies the true spirit of service, loyalty, and compassion. His dedication to the ideals of Governor Seyi Makinde’s administration has significantly contributed to the transformative agenda in Oyo State,” Akika stated.
