The National Youth Council of Nigeria, Oyo State Chapter, has issued a congratulatory message to His Imperial Majesty, Prince Abimbola Akeem Owoade, on his ascension as the 46th Alaafin of Oyo.
In a statement released today by Comrade (Amb) Israel Odeajo; The Council Publicity Officer, the council expressed its delight at this historic occasion, praying for a reign filled with peace, prosperity, and progress for the people of Oyo town and beyond.
Recognizing the Alaafin as the custodian of culture and tradition, the youth council led by Comrade AbdulSalam Olusegun AbdulQuadri; State Chairman and Chairman of Chairmen, expressed confidence in his wisdom and leadership to guide the land towards a future of unity and development.
The statement further emphasized the council’s unwavering support for the new Alaafin’s reign, pledging to work closely with the palace to foster initiatives that empower the youth and uplift the community.
“May your crown be enduring, your authority respected, and your influence a blessing to all. Long may you reign, Kábíyèsí!” the statement concluded.
