The National Youth Council of Nigeria Oyo State Chapter has sensitized the members across the state on The human papillomavirus (HPV).
HPV vaccine is a safe and effective vaccine that protects against HPV, the most common sexually transmitted infection (STI) in the world.
On Thursday 28th November, 2024 at the State management meeting with the head of voluntary youth organizations in Oyo State, the Chairman Amb. Abdulsalam Abdulquadri Olusegun FEIP explained to members on reasons for HPV vaccine and immunization. he expanded more on the level of the uptake in Oyo state and at various local government and further charge all Youth leaders to intensify efforts on engaging all members of the various community to patronize the health centers for immunization.
The Chairman decorated Com.Akeem Babalola, an emeritus Past Chairman and Com. Sunday Martin, an emeritus past Secretary general as champion of HPV vaccine.
All head of organizations were presented lapel and also made champion to improve there dedication towards towards 100% utilization of our primary health centers.
