
The Chairman of National Youth Council of Nigeria Oyo State Chapter, Comrade AbdulQuadri AbdulSalam FEIP has received Ahmadi Muslim Students Association (AMSA) Oyo State Chapter on a courtesy visit.
The delegation was led by Badmus AbdulWajud, (AMSA Oyo State Chapter), and accompanied by several other members of the association.
During the visit, AMSA President introduced the association and highlighted its accomplishments, including organizing a JAMB orientation for over 70 candidates, visiting correctional services, and hosting free blood donation drives.
Comrade AbdulSalam expressed his appreciation for the visit and shared his journey as a dedicated youth council member, starting with his representation of Majlis Khuddam at youth council meetings and programs.
Comrade AbdulSalam also shared his achievements in office, including providing scholarships for over 30 students, sponsoring them for both BSc and MSc programs, and awarding scholarships to over 100 students at Owu Crown Polytechnic and other institutions. He then offered advice to AMSA, emphasizing the importance of being active in Jamaat activities, partnering with other associations such as NGOs, NDLEA, and female lawyer associations, and the significance of prayer in protecting against evil eyes and harm.
Finally, Comrade AbdulSalam announced his recent appointment as the Chairman of Chairmen of the National Youth Council of Nigeria. This meeting served as a valuable opportunity for the association to connect with the National Youth Council and gain insight into the importance of community engagement and service.
