Hon. Rasaq Bisi Fadiran, the Executive Chairman of Iseyin LG, extends his heartfelt greetings to all Muslims around the world.
In his address, he highlighted the importance of Eid ul-Adha, which commemorates the willingness of Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham) to sacrifice his son as an act of obedience to God. Hon. Fadiran emphasized that this festival teaches us the values of sacrifice, devotion, and unwavering faith.
He charged the Muslim Ummah to embrace peace, love, and tolerance, and to extend a hand of charity to the less privileged, as preached during this festive period. “This is a time for us to come together as a community, to support one another, and to show compassion to those in need,” he said.
He further urged them to use this period to pray fervently for our dear country, state, and local government, asking God to ease our burdens and grant our leaders wisdom. “Let us pray for the strength and unity of our nation, and for guidance for our leaders to make decisions that will benefit all,” he added.
Hon. Fadiran also called on all citizens to reflect on the teachings of Eid ul-Adha, encouraging them to lead lives of humility, gratitude, and kindness. “As we celebrate, let us remember the true essence of this occasion – the spirit of giving, the importance of family, and the need to uphold our faith in all circumstances.”
He concluded, “May God’s pmercy and blessings herald this year’s celebrations. May we all live long to witness many more in peace of mind and abundant blessings of Allah!
