The Apex Youth Body, National Youth Council of Nigeria has commended the initiative of Oyo State Government led by His Excellency Engr Oluseyi Makinde for deeming it a necessity to empower the Youths of Oyo to achieve “Poverty to Prosperity”.
The Chairman of Chairmen, National Youth Council of Nigeria, Amb. Com. Abdulsalam Abdulquadri Olusegun FEIP who is also the Chairman of Oyo State Chapter in attendance at the grand finale of Omituntun 2.0 Enterprise Skills Development Programme (OES-DEP) where youths across the state were beneficiaries.
The 3-day programme took place at the Assembly Hall of the great citadel of learning, The Polytechnic Ibadan.
In attendance were Hon. Wasilat Adegoke, the Hon. commissioner for Youths and Sports, Directors from the Ministry of Youth and Sports and many more.
“I commend the initiative of his Excellency Engr. Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde for deeming it a necessity to empower the Youths of Oyo to achieve “Poverty to Prosperity” Quadri said.
‘I also use this opportunity to encourage beneficiaries to take the programme seriously as it’s life impacting for them’, he added.
Finally, the NYCN chairman said ‘I celebrate the youth constituency of Oyo State to be lucky at this time with the set of teams for youth development in the state”, he noted.’
