Hon. Chief Akindipe Hammed Abiodun (Akinsunbo) Igbaotun has congratulated Hon Leke Hon Leke Nelson, Hon Abideen Owolabi, Hon Folashade Oduola and Esho Taiwo over their emergence as the Leader, Deputy Leader, Majority and Chief Whip of the Ibadan NorthWest Legislative House respectively, during Tuesday’s inauguration.
Chief Hammed Akindipe described the emergence in a democratic and transparent process, as a positive signal for the local government’s democracy.
He however, advised them to put Ibadan NorthWest first in all their activities so that the people can get maximum benefit.
“A big congratulations to the new leader of the house, Hon Oluwagbemileke Gbadamosi Nelson and other principal officers of the Ibadan NorthWest Legislative House,
A big congratulations also to the inaugurated Councillors of Ibadan NorthWest Local Government.
This is indeed a good beginning and I am convinced that the rich legislative experience and patriotic zeal of the new leaders would help reposition the arm of government to achieve more dividends of democracy for the people.
