The Deputy National Chairman (South) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja has congratulated Hon. Akeem Ademola Ige, Hon. (Mrs) Funmi Arulogun and all other new appointees made by Governor Seyi Makinde yesterday.
Hon. Ademola Ige was appointed as the Chairman of Local Government Staff Pension Board while Mrs Funmi Arulogun was re-appointed as the Senior Special Assistant on Diaspora Matters to the Governor.
In a statement issued by Ambassador Arapaja and made available to the journalists through his Personal Assistant, Bamitale Ibrahim, Ambassador Arapaja described the appointments as well-deserved considering their capabilities, hard work, commitment and dedication to the Party and the government of Engr. Seyi Makinde.
Ambassador Arapaja stressed that he has full confidence that all the appointees will excel in their positions and that they will contribute significantly to the realization of the vision of Governor Makinde’s transformation agenda under the Omi tuntun 2.0.
He equally appreciated Governor Seyi Makinde for always rewarding the good efforts of individuals who have contributed to the progress of his administration and to the benefit of the people in the state.
While wishing them well in their new appointments, Ambassador Arapaja charged them to justify the confidence reposed in them by working assiduously for the progress of Oyo State.
