Hon Abiola Olalekan Monsuru, member of Oyo State House of Assembly Representing Akinyele State Constituency 1 in the 10th assembly double as the Chairman House Committee on Poverty Alleviation, Establishment and Training has added another feather to his cap by hosting his constituents in the mood of celebrating this year Eid-el-Fitr at his Aba-Odo Residence in Akinyele Local Government.
In his words:”I am really happy to witness a day like this with you all. It really a great time for us to come together in a joyous mood to celebrate this year Eid-Fitr. I pray that we shall all witness more on earth.
“As we all aware that tomorrow, Thursday 11th of April is the starting of Ward to Ward Campaign for the Local Government Election(WOLE/SAKIRU 2024), Pls let us all come together to campaign, support and Canvass the masses of Akinyele Local Government to come out and Vote in the forthcoming election which will holds in few weeks (Saturday, April 27th).
The constituents expressed their delight at the uncommon gesture and also appreciated Hon Lekan Abiola for deeming it fit to host them for the festivity. It is worthy to note that such gesture has never been experienced in Akinyele constituency 1 in a long while and Hon lekan Abiola has broken the jinx once more.
The party which was witnessed by high profiled individuals ranging from the PDP chairmanship candidate Hon Wole Akinleye, His vice, Hon Akintunde sakiru, party leaders, party stakeholders, party membership, various associations and community members.
Hon Lekan Abiola also used the opportunity to express his gratitude to everyone who took their time to be present and also reaffirmed his commitment to serving his constituents to the best of his capabilities.
