Phillips Olasupo popularly known as Kasupo, the founder of Kasupo Foundation and a political stalwart of Akinyele/Lagelu Federal Constituency of Oyo State has distributed food items worth millions of naira to his constituents to celebrate the festive seasons and curb the present economic hardship.
The beneficiaries, mainly widows and the aged could not hide their joy as they burst into spontaneous songs.
Kasupo, stated that the distribution of the items, only aimed at supporting families and cushioning the effects of the rising inflation in the country.
Some beneficiaries who spoke lauded Kasupo’s gesture, describing it as unprecedented in the constituencies history.
“We appreciate this kind gesture , and we pray that God grants his heart’s desires.”
Political associates and other stakeholders in the Constituency commended the efforts of Kasupo at putting smiles on the faces of his constituents at times like this while encouraging meaningful personalities to do such too.
