The Executive Chairman of Ibadan Northwest Local Government, Alh AbdulRahman Olanrewaju Adepoju has charged muslim faithfuls across the state to desist from any immoral acts that could
truncate their good deeds as practiced in the last 30days of Ramadan.
The advice was contained in his Eid-el fitr message to all residents of Ibadan Northwest Local Government and Oyo state in general.
Alh Adepoju Congratulated all Muslims for the successful completion of the Holy Month with an admonition to be more tolerance, discipline, prayerful, loving, supportive and honest as preached by the Holy Prophet Muhammed (PBUH). He reiterated that Ramadan is a Month of sober reflection in which Almighty Allah has promised all His servants who fasted in the month total forgiveness of their sins and abundant blessings hence the need to abstain from immoral acts and emulate the teachings and practices of the Holy Prophet Muhammed(S.A.W) as written in the Holy Quran and Hadiths.
The Executive Chairman maintained that in spite of the economic downturn of the country, Muslim faithfuls still strived to obey the fourth pillar of Islam(fasting during the month of Ramadan)as mandated by Almighty Allah. He commended the Muslim faithfuls for their steadfastness in their religion, he prayed to Almighty Allah to accept all their supplications during and after Ramadan as an act of ibadah.
The Council Boss further enjoined them to put into practice all lessons from sermons and Tafsir attended during Ramadan so as to be a proud Ambassador of Islam.
The Executive Chairman wishes all Muslim faithfuls in Ibadan Northwest Local Government, Oyo state and Nigeria as a whole Eid Mubarak and prayed to Allah to grant everyone a resounding health to witness more Ramadan on Earth.
