The Peoples Democratic Party Chairmanship Candidate in Akinyele Local Government, *Hon Akinwole Ayobami Akinleye* has extended his heartfelt gratitude to the Leadership of the party in the State and the Local Government for their immense efforts and contributions towards the success of the Federal Constituency Campaign Flag Off which took place yesterday in Akinyele Local Government, Moniya Ibadan.
In a statement personally signed by him, he appreciates the Executive Governor of the State, Engr Seyi Makinde, Hon Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, Hon Segun Olayiwola, the State Party Executive ably represented by the Deputy State Chairman Hon James Olukunle and the State Secretary, Alhaji Wasiu Adeleke, the State Women Leader, Alhaja Wulemat Ibitoye, The state Financial secretary, Hon Dayo Opatokun, The state party youth leader and Acting Publicity secretary, Hon Ogunshina Micheal, The Campaign DG for Akinyele/Lagelu Federal Constituency Agbaakin Benedict Akika among others.
He also Appreciates Akinyele Local Government party leaders, The state honorables representing Akinyele constituency 1 and2, Honorable representing Lagelu state constituency, Hon Tunde Tijani Double T, Hon Adetokunbo Adeaga, Hon Surajudeen Tiamy, Hon Agberemi Dabo Rad, party stakeholders, party members of AKINYELE/LAGELU Federal constituency and the good people of Akinyele Local Government for their support towards the success of the flagoff.
The event also highlighted with various parties Decamping into AKINYELE PDP from APC, NNPP, LP and SDP. Their defection to the ruling party is a testament of the developmental strides of the Peoples Governor who has ensured that the interest of the good people of the state is sacrosanct.
Another take home from the flag off was the free fuel initiative that was rolled out to Akinyele Constituents where hundreds of beneficiaries were given free fuel to ease the burden of the current state of our country’s economic situation.
