In his bid to complement the efforts of His Excellency, Engr Oluwaseyi Abiodun Makinde in the Security sector, the Executive Chairman of Ibadan Northwest Local Government, Alh AbdulRahman Olanrewaju Adepoju has donated brand new BAJAJ Motor cycles to the office of the Nigeria Security And Civil Defence Corps(NSCDC) and The Scorpion Policing Sector within the Council Area.
The donation, according to the Council Boss was to support the security operatives in the security surveillance in all the nooks and crannies of the Local Government.
Alh Adepoju affirmed that efforts are on-going to ensure that residents of Ibadan Northwest Local Government can sleep with their two eyes closed.
He appreciated the security Operatives in the council area for their professional tasks in curbing criminal activities within the Council area and the state in general.
The Chairman assured that all necessary logistics needed will be provided for them to have a hitch free working exercise.
The beneficiaries in their separate remarks appreciated the gestures of the Council Boss and promised their unflinching supports in curbing criminal activities within the Council area.
The NSCDC offices that benefited were;
Ibikunle Axis, Adamasingba Axis, Eleyele Axis and the Scorpion Policing Sector, Onireke.
The presentation which was held at the Council Secretariat Onireke, had in attendance the Chief of staff, Head of Local Government Administration and Heads of Departments.
