ALAO popularly known as Iya Ido Ibarapa East/Ido federal constituency Aspirant at the 2019 general election under PDP and under SDP in the last general election, member of Ibikunle family,The CEO BAMAT CONSTRUCTION COMPANY LTD, and BAMAT CREDIT LIMITED has commiserated With Gov Makinde and Ibadanland as whole on the Demise of Olubadan, Oba Senator Dr Mohood Olalekan Balogun Alli-Okunmade II.
Her statement was made available on Saturday, she described the demise of the late 42nd Olubadan as a shocking and painful to heart incident.
“I commiserated with Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, indigenes of Ibadanland on the passing of the Olubadan of ibadanland, Oba (Dr) Mohood Olalekan Balogun Alli-Okunmade II who joined his ancestors on Thursday {14/03/2024}.
“The death of the Olubadan was shocking and painful to her, and she knows that the rest of Ibadanland feel the same way having just lost a great king who showed unmatched commitment to the cultural and socioeconomic development of Ibadanland.
“I am expressing my condolences to the Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, immediate family of the Olubadan, the Olubadan-in-Council, the Mogajis and all Ibadan indigenes, the late monarch was a respectable king who promoted the values and culture of not just Ibadanland but the entire Yorubaland.
“I believed that the Pain of His Imperial Majesty, Oba Senator Dr Mohood Olalekan Balogun Alli-Okunmade II passing will be felt in the void of wisdom and the active manner Kabiyesi held the cultural and socioeconomic development of Ibadanland at heart.
“His wealth of experience, his immense wisdom, and his commitment to seeing a greater Ibadan and a better Oyo State are unrivalled in tenacity. Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria and humanity at large will miss Kabiyesi – he was ever ready to give his all to see a better society.
“As I urge us to honour him by celebrating his enduring and exemplary legacies, I pray the God almighty will grant his soul Aljanna Firdaus, and console his immediate family together with all sons and daughters of Ibadanland”.
