Solidarity greetings to all Fossuites
Amidst the pursuit of excellence, disagreements are inevitable, even within the National body of FOSSU. However, as stewards of our collective welfare and representation, we must prioritize unity over discord.
As the peace making arm of government, it is pertinent to ensure our union interest supercede any other movement or influence.
We call upon all stakeholders, regardless of past grievances, to lay down their arms and join hands with us in fostering peace and cohesion within FOSSU,
Moreso we call on the current executive bodies ( Lekmess led admistration and Alarape led adminstration) to ensure that they are fully committed in fostering unanimity in our proceedings and ensuring harmony in our conventions.
To all aspiring leaders, we implore you to embark on your duties with zeal, knowing that past leadership challenges are now behind us.
Furthermore,we commend both Oyo and Ogbomosho zone for democratically conducting credible and hitch-free elections successfully and equally,we humbly extend our heartfelt congratulations through the newly elected presidents of the Associations to their executives respectfully.
On that note,we admonish both Ibadan and Ibarapa zones, who will be having their elections respectively in few days time to be inspired by the good conduct of the aforementioned zones to run free,fair and credible elections.
We hereby issue a 30-days ultimatum to NAOOS National body to establish effective electoral committees within the zone, thereby facilitating the emergence of new executive bodies. Unchecked power breeds tyranny, and it’s our collective responsibility to uphold democratic principles within our associations.
Let us forge ahead with unity as our guiding principle, for only together can we truly advance the interests of all FOSSU members across the Federation.
