Prince (Dr.) Sanmi Bamidele, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Royal Entertainment Cruise (REC), Eleyele, Ibadan — a leading and award-winning aqua-tourist destination in Oyo State has joined dignitaries across Nigeria in congratulating Governor Oluseyi Makinde and his wife, Engr. (Mrs.) Olufunke Makinde, on their prestigious installation as Aare Omoluabi and Yeye Aare Omoluabi of Akure Kingdom.
The honour was bestowed by His Imperial Majesty, Oba (Dr.) Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade Aladelusi, CFR, the Deji of Akure Kingdom, as part of activities marking his 10th Coronation Anniversary — a celebration of legacy, leadership, and cultural pride.
In his congratulatory message, Prince Bamidele described the honour as “well deserved and confirmed by history and the people,” applauding Governor Makinde’s sterling performance, integrity, and people-oriented governance, which continues to resonate far beyond the borders of Oyo State.
“The conferment of these prestigious titles is not just a cultural recognition but a seal of honour on a leader whose character, humility, and service are rooted in Omoluabi ethos,” Bamidele stated.
The REC boss, an influential voice in tourism and entertainment development in the South-West, also congratulated the sons and daughters of Akure Kingdom for celebrating a visionary monarch and honouring exemplary personalities like the Governor and First Lady of Oyo State.
“Congratulations to His Imperial Majesty, Kabiyesi, on your 10th anniversary of purposeful reign. Congratulations to His Excellency and Her Excellency — the newly installed Aare and Yeye Aare Omoluabi. May your legacies continue to grow in honour and impact,” he added.
