In a demonstration of his administration’s commitment to quality education, the Executive Chairman of Ona Ara Local Government, Dr. Temitope Kolapo GLORIOUS, has officially launched the distribution of exercise books to primary schools across the Local Government Area. This initiative, a core part of Dr. Kolapo’s educational agenda, is aimed at equipping young learners with essential tools to support their academic journey.
Joining the Chairman in the official distribution were the Director of Education and Social Services, Alhaja Adenike Akande; the Supervisory Councillor for Education, Hon. Yakub Adurodekun; and the Special Assistant to the Chairman on Education, Prince Adekunle Odumeru, among other distinguished government functionaries.
This was disclosed in a press statement signed by the Chairman’s Press Secretary, Mr. Rahmon Alawode, and made available to newsmen in Ibadan.
Speaking at the launch, Dr. Kolapo emphasized that the welfare and development of Ona Ara’s youth remain top priorities for his administration. “Education is the cornerstone of our community’s future, and by providing these resources, we are laying a strong foundation for our children’s success. No child should be left without the tools they need to excel in their studies,” he stated.
The exercise book distribution program is set to continue in the coming days, reaching all primary schools within Ona Ara Local Government. This initiative aligns with the administration’s broader objective of enhancing educational opportunities for all students, regardless of their background or circumstances.
