Oyo market leader, Princess Folashade Abeo, graced the inauguration ceremony of the new executives of the Ibadan Foodstuff Sellers Association at Bodija Market on Thursday.
In a significant event for the Bodija Market foodstuff sellers, certificates were presented to the new executives, led by Chief Dauda Adegbenro (popularly known as Darosa), were officially inaugurated.
Chief Adegbenro has now taken on the role of Chairman of the Ibadan Foodstuff Sellers Association, Bodija Market.
Princess Folashade Abeo extended her congratulations to the Babaloja and Iyaloja of Bodija Market for successfully bringing new executives on board after a prolonged conflict among different factions in the market.
She commended the people’s governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde, Otunba Seye Famojuro, and the Executive Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade, for their pivotal roles in resolving the protracted conflict within the market.
She offered prayers for Governor Makinde, wishing him continued wisdom to lead the state to greater heights.
The event saw a notable turnout of dignitaries, including Otunba Seye famojuro, Hon. Tunde Tijani (Double T), Hon. Ademola Omotoso, Hon. Akeem Ayoade, Hon. Lukman Adesina, Hon. Ademola Ige, Hon.
