The Lawmaker representing Ibadan Northwest State Constituency at the Oyo State Assembly, Hon Dawood Akanni Olalere proudly known as D-Al-Ameen has urged the good people of his constituency to remain calm and resilient in the face off provocation.
In a statement released today by SoroSoke Media Team and personally from the lawmaker, Hon. D. A. Olalere, also the Chairman of the House Committee on Security and Strategies, emphasized the importance of unity and dialogue in ensuring peace and progress in the constituency.
“We are one big family, and our strengths lie in our collective resolve,” he said. “I implore you all to stand together, support us, and work towards brighter future for all in Ibadan North West.”
Alhaji (Hon) Dawood Olalere, also the Aare Musulumi of Ekotedo Central Mosque stressed that peace and tranquility are paramount, and he does not want any violence within his party (PDP) or among stakeholders.
He revealed that stakeholders have met and had fruitful discussions, agreeing on terms to maintain peace and sense of belonging.
“I urge you all to sheath your swords and allow peace to reign,” he said. “Let us rise above provocations and show the power of our calm and peaceful resolve.”
Hon. D-Al-Ameen thanked his good people of Ibadan NorthWest and Oyo State for their understanding and cooperation, emphasizing his commitment to building a better society.
