In a heartwarming display of community commitment and promise fulfilment, Hon. Wasiu Alabi Bolaji Mudashiru, the Councillor representing Ward 5, Ibadan North West Local Government, has delivered on his promise to support education in the area.
In an official event for donation, the councillor donated school kits; schools uniform textbooks, notes books, sandals , socks and school bags to to students in the ward, providing essential materials for academic success.
The donation, which is the students of St Michael Primary School Oke Seni and Baptist Primary School Idikan aligns with Oyo State’s emphasis on education as a driving force for development. This initiative demonstrates the Councillor’s dedication to improving education and the well-being of his community.
The Education Secretary of the local government, Comrade Kehinde Ayoade praised the councillor for his selfless service and unwavering commitment to his campaign promises. This donation serves as a testament to his promise-keeping leadership style, inspiring hope for a brighter future in Ibadan North West Local Government.
“Oyo State has been actively promoting education, with the Governor emphasizing its importance in driving development. Recently, the state received a donation of 14,850 textbooks for primary schools ², and the Basic Education Service Delivery for All (BESDA) programme donated 1,200 writing materials to schools”

Hon. Wasiu Alabi Bolaji dedicated his recent achievements to the leadership of the local government with the Executive Chairman, Alhaji AbdulRahman Adepoju.
