Eruwa agribusiness industrial Hub is a replication of the success and achievements of Fashola agribusiness industrial hub which is the first of the integrated agribusiness hub that Governor Seyi Makinde approved for Oyo state Agribusiness Development Agency (OYSADA).
This Farm was once an old farm settlement created by Chief Obafemi Awolowo and now will be upgraded to Eruwa agribusiness industrial Hub which ground breaking will be held on Thursday the 21st November 2024 by 10:00am at Old Farm settlement Eruwa.
Just as Fashola agribusiness industrial Hub,Eruwa agribusiness industrial hub will attract Private investors, both local and foreign investors.The new cattle breed drive of breeding cattle that can produce large quantities of diary products will also be reprised in Eruwa agribusiness industrial hub.
Eruwa Agribusiness business hub will also help solve farmers-herders conflict whereby massive production pasture which for commercial purposes and as animal feeds like brachiaria grass which are forage crops for livestock productivity and they can withstand climate changes.This will go along way in solving grazing issues and farmers/herders crisis.
This hub will be used as training ground for farmers on modern agriculture such as Artificial insemination,livestock rearing and pasture development .This hub will also provide seeds for farmers,modern livestock machinery.
Old farm settlement Eruwa will be transformed into Eruwa agribusiness hub creating an environment with enhanced growth and development,increase livelihood of farmers and contribute to Oyo state economy . This new hub is a testament to Governor Seyi Makinde’s administration in being very intentional about the agricultural development,welfare of farmers,the economy of Oyo state and the people of Oyo State.
