
Hon. Abass Adigun Agboworin, the federal lawmaker representing Ibadan North East and South East Federal Constituency, has facilitated Digital Literacy Programme tagged Human Capital Development and Strategic Empowerment FOR Youths in ICT in (IBADAN NORTHEAST/SOUTHEAST FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY) Ibadan, Oyo State.
The event, held at the Local Government House Secretariat in Ibadan, provided 60 participants with comprehensive ICT training, brand-new HP laptops, and cash grants each to support their new skills.
In his opening address, Hon. Agboworin emphasized his commitment to making a direct impact on his constituency since taking office in 2019.
He stated that, beyond his legislative duties, he believes it is essential to bring impactful projects to his community.
“I’ve been focused on making a direct impact on human capital in my constituency since 2019,” Hon. Agboworin said.
“Unlike some politicians who prioritize sharing money, my role is to create jobs and drive development,” he said.
The programme featured a comprehensive ICT training session led by Dr. Chukwuemeka, who equipped participants with the necessary skills to thrive in today’s technology-driven world.

“The training is designed to empower participants with the skills needed to succeed in today’s technology-driven world,” Dr. Chukwuemeka noted.
“We’re not just providing laptops and cash grants; we’re giving them the tools to create a better future for themselves and their communities.”
Alhaja Salawu Folake representing the National Productivity Centre encouraged the participants to make use of the productivity skills for development of the economy and the country at large.
This initiative through National Productivity Centre in conjunction with Mac-Chris Computers Ltd is part of Hon. Agboworin’s efforts to fulfill his electoral promises, focusing on job creation, education, and human capital development within his constituency and Oyo State at large.
