Oloye Adegboyega Taofeek Adegoke, a prominent figure in Ibadan and the President of the Jericho Businessmen Club, has joined the global community in observing the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women.
Known for his philanthropic endeavors, Oloye Adegoke has consistently championed the cause of women’s empowerment and gender equality.
He has actively supported various initiatives aimed at addressing issues such as domestic violence, sexual harassment, and gender-based discrimination.
“Violence against our girls and women is a scourge that must be eradicated,” said Oloye Adegoke.
“It is a violation of human rights and a barrier to progress.
We must all work together to create a society where women and girls can live free from fear and violence.”
Oloye Adegoke encourages everyone to take a stand against violence against women.
He urges individuals to report cases of abuse, support survivors, and advocate for policies that protect women’s rights.
“By raising awareness and promoting gender equality, we can collectively work towards a future where every woman and girl can live a life free from violence” he concluded.
