It was amazing as usual, Onala Parish Celestial Church Of Christ Celebrates 20th Years Of Adult Harvest and Thanksgiving service in grand style on Sunday 24th, 2024 with Artist King Olusegun Ajidara for melodious tunes.
The Celestial Church of Christ Onala Parish shepherded by Pro/ Dr Kolawole Olakanmi (Baba Onala) came amazing with empowerment to the youths who are gifted and amplified their voices in singing and praising melodious tunes to stay connected and committed to Almighty God.
According to the church, for almost 20 years, the programme of annual adult harvest and thanksgiving service is about the large gathering of teeming youths through inter-religions and denominations who are gifted to exhibit their talents as a best worship and thanksgiving singer.
As we all know, “the youth are the powerhouse of the nation” there must be positive examples of youth engagement with religion and inter-religion through spiritual exploration and innovation to adapt to modern life. It will enhance relationships, understanding and inter-religious education and research..
This year’s events were fantastic, when the Muslim congregation were in attendance and sighted at Onala Parish annual adult harvest and thanksgiving service, this is what we call non religious bigotry.
The winner at the just concluded event, Trinity Girls were gifted a luxury car, Infiniti QX56.
As a matter of fact those emerging winners in the last three (3) years are from other church denominations like Cherubim and Winners members consecutively.
As this is a way of giving back to the society and encouraging the youths.
Shepherd In Charge Pro/ Dr Kolawole Olakanmi (Baba Onala) admonished youths not to feel shy in displaying their talents and never give up no matter the challenges they are facing because one day, the storm will be over.
Speaking further, he advised our political office holders and religious leaders to create room for the youths who are diligent and ready to contribute to the progress of the country in all ramifications better than rewards of social vices in our communities and Nigeria at large.
Baba Onala mentioned the style of leadership of Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde, the way he appointed many youths in his cabinet and gives room for others in local government areas.
