In recognition of his unprecedented achievements and remarkable contributions in promoting cultural values and heritage, the Executive Chairman of Ibadan Northwest Local Government Alh AbdulRahman Olanrewaju Adepoju has been installed as ‘ATAYESE ISOKAN’ OF IBADAN NORTH WEST LOCAL while His Vice, Alh Ganiy Abiodun Omotosho was installed as ‘OTUN ATAYESE’ by the Isokan Traditional Medicine practitioners Association of Nigeria (Ibadan Northwest/Okebadan North LCDA Branch).
The installation programme was part of activities marking the 12years anniversary of the Association.
The Executive Chairman was represented by the secretary of the council, Mrs Sarah Shobowale while the Vice was represented by the super for Special Duties Mrs Bunmi Osibowale.
The ceremony which was held at the council Secretariat, Onireke had in attendance the representative of Oyo state ALGON Chairman,Hon Michael Olaopa, Head of Local Government Administration who was represented by the Director of Education and Social Services, Mrs Titilola Adeniran.
Others were Deputy Director of Education and Social Services, Mr Sunday Ojo, Head of Community Unit Mrs sade Agboola and staff of the Local Government.
