Olaseyi Mayowa popularly known as sky mayor, one of the formidable Omituntun Volunteers in Governor Seyi Makinde’s administration has stated his opinion to help democracy to work through the governance of nature, and the youths support for him in 2027 general election will go a long way in making Nigeria better
He referenced that Democratic settings can be compared to an individual with one leg, the individual can only stand or sit
and would not be able to function or run properly. As a result, there’s a need to address this challenge.
We cannot continue to run Nigeria the same way and expect different results, and the question of whether our livelihood settings were still based on the social contract should be asked; because this was invented after humanity left the state of nature due to its vulnerability. In other words, the social contract was what therefore assumed to be the democratization of our natural identity. While the other identity can be referred to as the mindset identity.
Furthermore, the Democratization of our mindset identity is missing. This proves to show that when it comes to any system there must be an inner and outer parts to make it a complete whole system for effective governance which we usually see in the governance of nature.
Moreover, According to the biophilia hypothesis which stated that nature communicates with human beings and so if only we can interpret and inculcate these creatures communicated signs into our governance, then we can begin to experience a true representation. In this period, we are experiencing representative government but nature is performing a collective or joint representation where both the citizens and the leaders are supposed to represent themselves for effective governance.
