The Executive Chairman of Ibadan Northwest Local Government, Alh AbdulRahman Olanrewaju Adepoju has reiterated that the tireless efforts and commitments of Nigerian workers have contributed to the progress and development of the country.
This was contained in his May Day message to felicitate workers across the Local Government and the state in general on this year’s workers’ Day celebration.
According to the Council Boss, workers’ contributions are invaluable hence the need to appreciate their hard work in various sectors like health, Education, Administration, Agriculture among others.
He said, “I commend your resilience, creativity,and passion for excellence. Your selflessness and commitment to serving the society have not gone unnoticed. May this celebration inspire you to continue striving for greatness and making a positive impact in our society”.
The council Chairman rejoiced with all civil servants in Ibadan North West Local Government, Oyo State and Nigeria as a whole on this year’s workers’Day celebration. He enjoined them to be more deligent, discipline and committed to their schedules as expected. Adding that this will enhance effective productivity in the civil service.
Alh Adepoju assured civil servants in Oyo State that the present Administration under the leadership of His Excellency, Engr Oluwaseyi Abiodun Makinde is committed in bringing smiles to the faces of civil servants in the state,hence the need for the compliance with the new minimum wage which every workers and Pensioners in Oyo state are enjoying till date. He maintained that as workers are being celebrated today, the government recognizes the challenges being faced by them and all efforts are in top gear to create a more conducive working environment for effective productivity that will enhance the growth of the local government and state as a whole.
The Executive Chairman wishes all Civil servants in Ibadan North West Local Government, Oyo state and the country as a whole a joyful and prosperous workers’ Day Celebrations and a brighter future.
He asserted that their efforts will be rewarded and they shall continue to be a driving force behind the progress of the nation.
