
As Muslims across the world celebrate Eid Al-Fitr, marking the end of Ramadan, the Leader of the Ibadan NorthWest Legislative House, Hon. Oluwagbemileke Gbadamosi Nelson, the councillor representing Ward 9, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to all Muslim faithful in the constituency and beyond.
In his goodwill message, Hon. Oluwagbemileke Gbadamosi, popularly known as Hon. O’leke, emphasized the importance of love, unity, and compassion, which are key values of the holy month of Ramadan and the Eid celebration. He called on Muslims to continue upholding these virtues even after the fasting period, urging them to extend acts of kindness and generosity to the less privileged in society.
“This is a time for reflection, gratitude, and love. The lessons of Ramadan sacrifice, discipline, and empathy should continue to guide us in our daily lives. I urge all our Muslim brothers and sisters to embrace the spirit of togetherness and extend a hand of friendship to their neighbors, irrespective of religious or ethnic backgrounds,” he stated.
Hon. O’leke also used the opportunity to reaffirm his commitment to the development of Ward 9 and the entire Ibadan NorthWest Local Government, pledging to continue working towards policies and initiatives that foster peace and progress within Oyo State.
He concluded by praying for divine blessings, peace, and prosperity for Governor Seyi Makinde, Alhaji Rahman Adepoju, Alhaji Wasiu Adeleke, all Muslim faithfuland the entire nation.
