As the sacred month of Ramadan begins, Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, the Otun Olubadan of Ibadanland, has extended his warmest greetings to the people of Ibadanland, Oyo State, and Nigeria, wishing them blessings, peace, and spiritual rejuvenation.

In his message, the revered monarch emphasized the core values of Ramadan—fasting, prayer, and charity—urging all Muslims to embrace compassion, empathy, and kindness during this holy period. He called on the faithful to let justice, equality, and love guide their actions and interactions.

“I pray that Allah (SWT) accepts our fasting, prayers, and good deeds and grants us forgiveness, guidance, and protection,” Oba Ladoja stated. “May He also bless our leaders with wisdom, courage, and vision to steer our nation towards peace, prosperity, and greatness.”

The Otun Olubadan further encouraged the spirit of generosity, reminding the faithful to support the less privileged and vulnerable members of society. He urged everyone to extend love, care, and assistance to those in need, reinforcing the communal spirit that Ramadan embodies.

As families and communities gather to observe the fast-breaking traditions, he called for unity and devotion, expressing hope that the holy month would bring divine blessings and positive transformation across the nation.

Ramadan Mubarak!
