A chieftain of People’s Democratic Party, PDP in Ekiti State and Business Mogul, Harrison Niyi Alonge has decried the gruesome murdered of two Ekiti monarchs and abduction of school Children by suspected Fulani herdsmen as barbaric and uncivilized.
In a press statement personally signed by him and made available to the 9ja News 24/7, he condemned the abduction of school children, teachers and driver by the kidnappers along Eporo/Emure road.
Earlier, two prominent monarchs, Oba (Dr) Olatunde Olusola, the Onimojo of Imojo in Oye L.G, Oba David Ogunsakin, the Elesun of Esun Ekiti in Ajoni LCDA were gruesomely murdered on the same Monday evening along Irele/Oke- Ako road.
Therefore, France based Politician has called for an improvement in security architecture of our dear Ekiti State to avert reoccurrence of such.
“I sympathize with the good People of Imojo, Esun and Ekiti People in general on the sudden murdering of respected traditional rulers.”
The PDP stalwart urged the APC led Govt of Ekiti to be liable to active responsibility by ensuring security of lives and property of citizenry.
“How do you want foreigners to invest in a state where security is being threatened?
“Ekiti Govt must be proactive to ensuring the residence of Ekiti lives in safety society.” he added.
The Philanthropist therefore prayed for safe release of kidnapped school children and teachers while he also prayed for the repose of the souls of the late monarchs.
