
As Nigeria marks her 65th Independence Anniversary, Olooye Adegboyega Taofeek Adegoke, Aare Egbe-Omo Balogun of Ibadanland, has extended heartfelt congratulations to the government and people of Oyo State with Nigeria at large on the historic occasion.
In his goodwill message, Adegoke who is also the chairman of Solutions 93.9 FM Ibadan described the anniversary as a moment of reflection and renewed hope for national progress. He emphasized the need for unity, peace, and patriotism, stressing that Nigeria’s strength lies in its diversity and resilience as a people.
According to him, despite challenges confronting the nation, Nigerians must continue to uphold the spirit of togetherness, hard work, and faith in the country’s future. He also called on leaders at all levels to prioritize policies that will foster development, create opportunities for the youth, and ensure sustainable growth.
“As we celebrate 65 years of independence, we must all renew our commitment to building a Nigeria that works for everyone. Let us uphold the values of justice, equity, and service to humanity,” he said.
Adegoke, who is also a respected philanthropist and PDP gubernatorial candidate, prayed for continued peace, prosperity, and divine guidance for the nation’s leadership. He further urged citizens not to lose hope but to remain steadfast in the collective pursuit of a greater Nigeria.
